Moved here last January, and stumbled upon this GEM of a place. I love cheese and I’ve enjoyed many of them. This place truly does not disappoint. Recommend visiting

This is one of the best grilled cheese sandwiches I’ve had (and I’ve tried a lot of grilled cheese)! Had the smokey red pepper and tomato soup w/ Gouda too and it was phenomenal. Would recommend the 1/2 sandwich and soup combo for lunch. Worth the trip from London to come here!

2026 UpDate: I have attached some free advertising "somewhere in the Dominican Republic". A lady in the Secret's lobby laughed when she read the back of the shirt. . A great place to buy cheese in downtown Woodstock. the shop is bright and clean with a large selection of 'exotic' and local cheese products. The have samples available to help you find a good cheese for your needs. We got some local favourites from Gunn's Hill and were interested in the Mango Ginger Stilton so we got a sample. It was delicious so we took home some of that also. It is/was great! I recommend this shop for your cheese needs. I will return. .

This place is a cheesy wonderland!! So many fun and local gourmet and gift items in the shop you can’t find anywhere else. They also carry a huge selection of cheese from all over, but my favourites are our local Golspie Dairy and Gunns Hill cheeses. I love their soup and lunch menu as well- perfect for eating in or taking out but I recommend sitting at their bright orange tables. Make sure to visit this local gem and say hi to the friendly staff while you’re there.

I was recommended to check out Cheesy Cow Company by Dine 519, and since I’m from Sarnia I always love supporting local spots when I’m visiting a new city. I’m really glad I stopped in! First of all, the service was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I was greeted as soon as I walked in, and the whole atmosphere felt warm, cute, and inviting. I picked up a wedge of their dill pickle cheese and some taco cheese curds to take home, and I ordered the OG grilled cheese while I was there. The bread on the sandwich was amazing, and you can definitely taste the quality of their handcrafted cheese. I do want to be honest though — the portion size felt a bit small for the price, and the cheese inside wasn’t fully melted. I’m not sure if that’s intentional, but it made some bites a little chewy and took away from that classic cheese pull I was expecting. I also loved the option of picking a flavour for your hand crafted ketchup. I choose the bacon, I liked it but found it had more of a smokey flavour than actual bacon. Would I go back? Absolutely. The store itself is adorable, the staff were wonderful, and I love what they’re doing with their unique cheeses. Next time I think I’ll try the half sandwich with one of their soups. Overall, a great spot with lots of potential — and definitely worth a visit! Edit - I also found out I was supposed to get a pickle - sad that mine didnt come with mine! Who doesnt love a good pickle!

A phenomenal grilled cheese and soup combo was enjoyed. Our only disappointment is that we didn’t visit on a Friday to take advantage of the proximity to the cinnamon buns at Two Guys and a Whisk next door!

UPDATE: We decided to have their Charcuterie Cart at our wedding for the late lunch and it was an absolute hit! Everyone loved it! Big thanks to Sarah and Wes - not only did we have options for what was served, they were able to accommodate gluten-free options. 10/10 This is a must have at any wedding! Always a favorite place to stop for lunch or pick up some awesome cheeses.

Excellent food.

Had the Ooey Gooey grilled cheese and added a 10 year cheddar cheese on it for lunch today. It was amazing! Also enjoyed it with a variety of gourmet ketchups that were excellent! Will definitely be coming back again for lunch again!!

Update 18/06/2025: Stopped in for a grilled cheese sandwich. The new location is great, lots to look at on the shelves. Sandwich was tasty. Great selection of cheeses, meat, sauces, and other tasty treats. Always a pleasure to stop in here and chat with Wes and the gang. An instant classic to the Woodstock downtown.
